The MagicMend Extender Fitting is designed to go over fittings where there is not a sufficient amount of pipe left to connect to. Remove one fitting; connect the MagicMend Extender Fitting to the existing fitting and continue with PVC pipe that will solvent weld to the opposite end of the MagicMend.
