Description
Description
Apollo expansion PEX Poly Alloy fittings are exclusively designed for use with PEX-A pipe. The fittings offer larger than traditional crimp fittings for full flow resulting in fast delivery of potable water. For use with PEX-A pipe only. Suitable for use in hot and cold domestic potable water and hydronic heating and cooling piping systems. Compatible with uponor (wirsbo) ProPEX piping systems. ProPEX is a trademark of Uponor. All Apollo Expansion PEX Poly Alloy Fittings have barb ends unless otherwise noted. Apollo Expansion PEX Poly Alloy Fittings can be used with Apollo Expansion PEX (PEX-A) or uponor ProPEX tubing. Fittings may be installed in concrete, gypsum-based lightweight concrete, sand, asphalt, in or under wood flooring, or behind wallboard or plaster. Use Apollo expansion PEX poly alloy fittings with Apollo expansion PEX pipe and fasten to pipe using Apollo expansion sleeves with Apollo expansion PEX tools. Follow all instructions included with Apollo tools, fittings, and fasteners. To cut PEX tubing, use a PEX tubing cutter and cut at a 90-degree angle. Clear the cut end of any burrs or debris. Place the expansion sleeve on the end of the tubing. Insert tool head into tubing end and expand. Immediately remove the tool and insert the fitting into the pipe to the shoulder. The pipe may take up to two minutes to fully seal fitting.
